Black People Hair Growth?

Ok my hair grows rather quick i would say but it always grow uneven. What techiques could i use to make my hair grow and what products would be affective?

I agree with the people who say to get a trim every 6-8 weeks but you should also try to figure out why it grow unevenly. When I was younger, the sides of my head grew slower than the top and back of my head. My hairdresser asked me how I slept at night and it turned out that I always slept on the sides of my head. When I tried to sleep differently, the sides began to grow faster. This may not be your reason but it might help to try to figure out why your hair grows that way before using techniques or products.

Good Luck.

weekly trims

Black People Hair Growth?

Hola, As you just mention, your hair grows rather quick... Have you consider trimming your ends every 8 weeks?... Scalp hair treatments could help as well.

I agree with regular trimmings (although not weekly). I suggest that you use natural hair oils (Natural Oasis or any products by Carol's Daughter, www.carolsdaughter.com)

My hair is also long, I get it washed and conditioned weekly and get it trimmed every 6 weeks.

Stay away from too much blow drying and if you can, set the hair instead.

You should juss get it cut more often. And dont wear your up with tight rubber bands, wear it loosely in some sort of clip or down.

Start messaging your scalp with natural oils, this will help promote hair growth. I use Dr. Miracles products or Doo Grow products.
