Hair Growth madness?

I have about an inch or two of new growth and it is so hard to comb through normally I get a perm, but I'm trying to grow my hair out naturally and cut out all the perming. what should I do? how do I get my roots straigth. I really don't want to use a flat iron either and beauticians are too expensive. anything hellllllppppp................

You should try washing your hair more frequently now since you are going natural. Once you apply the conditioner, you should comb your hair then. Your hair will be alot easier to comb through with the conditioner on because your cuticles are softened so it wont hurt as much. You should also look into getting yourself a wide tooth comb. You should comb your hair everyday, if not then it will dread up. One last tip, you may break your hair off if you are combing it without any oils. Always use hair conditioner (hair grease is what we call it).

use a wide tooth comb to comb ur nappy hair and also cocunut oil is good and makes hair more manegable.

You need to use gel and/or wear hairpins to train your hair to do what you want it to. It works.
