Improving hair growth?

I'm working on growing my hair long, I just recently got it cut to my shoulders and I mostly want to do this because I dye my hair often and really would no longer like to. I don't want it to take YEARS to get to a desired length, really.. mid back would be nice to have within some recent time. The constant dyeing has made my hair not so great, so I want to find some products that 1. help with hair GROWTH [whether some people say so or not, I do believe certain things do speed hair growth even if just minimally] 2. help with hair HEALTH [I'll be getting frequent trims so as I can cut out all of the dye eventually, but I'm not wanting to wait forever.. and still woud like my hair to look somewhat healthy as is. Plus I have a lot of hair breakage that isn't great to have.]

So if there is anything YOU do or USE or if you've tried this whole method yourself, any help would be great!

(I already take Biotin, and .. it really doesn't help all that much, but I'm still takin' them!)

I've heard that prenatal vitamins will make your hair grow..and be healthier..Or those hair, skin, nail vitamins as well

sorry theres actually no proven way to really make hair grow faster, but anything try putting some green tea when its WARM never try it hot. they say it makes it look fresh and it contains lots of ingredients that help hair health. and remember Healthy Hair = better it grows, trust me

I too wanted my hair to grow fast and I used Garnier frutics and it helped my hair grow faster. For hair care use dove. Its like a navy blue bottle that has the word "damage" on it.

Good Luck

Improving hair growth?

Hey, I am a hair dresser and there are a few things that I have found to help out with the improvement of hair growth. You need a good system of products to help your hair. My favorite for hair growth is Nioxin. It has been proven to help hair grow faster and stronger than just using normal products. Make sure to look at the differences in the two systems. One is for color treated hair and one is for virgin hair. Secondly, prenatal vitamins will help your hair and nails grow faster than anything else. You can pick these up at any local grocery store or even Walgreen's. The last important thing to do to help your hair grow is actually to get frequent trims to remove your split ends. If you are using constant heat on your hair you definitely need a thermal protector (CHI is my favorite!) to help you from getting any more split ends. Split ends will travel up your hair shaft and make your hair break off which will actually make your hair shorter than getting a trim in the first place! Good luck with this! XOXO
