Baby hair growth less?

My baby girl is 7 months and her hair growth is very poor.My friends's daughter is also 7 months and she has lustrous hair.

my baby has very short , thin and sparse hair. You can see the whole scalp.

Please help and guide , I am too much worried.

Baby hair growth less?

I understand your concerns, I too had a baby girl with hair like that, I had to dress her in pink just so people wouldn't think she was a boy. I have a picture of her when she was 15 months old and still not much hair. I think that it is just something that happens sometimes. Her hair eventually grew in and was beautiful. Just love her and try not to compare her to other children so much. Each child is unique and they all deserve our love. Hopefully you have consulted a doctor and he probably told you the same thing. Good Luck and enjoy your daughter......Cherie....PS. For inexpensive clothes and toys for children you can go to my eBay store..Cherie's Child.

Don't worry about it. My daughter had thick hair when she was born but it shed off when she was about 7 to 8 months old. There are babies who are gifted with lustrous hair and there are babies who are bald until they are two years old. It will grow. Try this (it's our custom here in the Philippines). On the first birthday of the child (or maybe 2 - 3 days after the birthday party), the head is shaven. They say that if you shave off a child's hair, thicker hair will grow. Yes, it happened to me and my daughter. She is 5 years old now and has a thick, straight hair.

I was bold until I was a year old. Now I have really thick hair. That's why I'm not worried about my daughter, who at 10months has only peach fuzz.

mine was the same. do not worry, it will gradually grow, some children are like that.

Baby hair growth less?

My son was born with a lot of hair. I shaved off my baby hair's around 4mth when his hair shedded and have uneven patches.

A few times after bathing him, i applied a bit of Martell (liquoeur) onto my both hands and lightly pat and brush through his shaven head. and leave it.

it's not stingy and actually cooling sensation for the baby.

Now his hair grew evenly. :)
