Plucking (tweezing), Shaving, Depilatory creams and Waxing are temporary hair removal methods. Waxing usually lasts for 3 weeks, but it is painful. Electrolysis and laser hair removal are "permanent" hair removal methods but are expensive and you have to find a trained professional, otherwise your skin could be damaged. A review of the various hair removal methods is available at http://3rc.info/

Go to Amazon.com and search for the hair removal product that has five star review on it. Nair ? I believe is one of them.

If you wax often enough, your hair will start coming in thinner and slower and eventually (in like, a couple of years of regular waxing) often stops altogether. It might be a good idea to get it done professionally if you're waxing down there, at least for the first time. They can show you how to do it right.

Waxing is probably the best form of removal. Although its painful at first, once you get used to it the are becomes desensitised.

I would say don't attempt this yourself unless you are experienced with self waxing.

wear a suit with legs- like clingy short shorts- don't shave yuk. or you let it get long enough you can tuck it into bathing under wear- or don't they sell those anymore. from what I hear swimmer shave their entire bodies. yikes what a task- that woudl discourage me from the start.

How about a professional brazilin bikini wax.http://www.ivillage.co.uk/beauty/bodybas...

you can get it lasered if you can afford it. it will never grow back though, that could be good or bad... actually I can't see why that would be bad.

You could get it waxed. probably even more expensive than lasering in the long run since you keep having to go back.

Either way, you could just start with the bikini line, so none is hanging out of your swimsuit, and keep the rest trimmed short, and then do more later if you feel like it.

If you're young, talking your mom into a bikini wax shuoldn't be a problem at all, but she may not quite understand the need for a brazilian wax LOL so just tell her you want to try a bikini wax to avoid the razor bumps, you can get them for $15-$20 depending on what salon you go to.
