I usually straighten my hair once or twice a week. my hair is thick and wavy, and i'm trying to grow it to the middle of my stomach by october. If i keep straightening my hair a lot, will my hair stop growing? what should i do?

yea definatly. it drys out your hair and it breaks off and stops growth. if you have to straighten, be sure to use iron guard or straigtning cream to protect it from the heat.

To make it explicit...the existing ones would still grow longer to your stomach or whatever part of your desired organs but some portion maybe damaged by over straightening process and stop growing...drop off eventually and gradually....
