Dry scalp will not affect your hair growth, but it can be very irritating...my advice to you is to go buy a dry scalp (not a dandruff) shampoo and start using that...they may be expensive but they work, and u can still use your same conditioner. Good luck and hope it helps!!!

If you have not washed your hair for a while or have been stressed recently or depressed or pregnant or menstrul ( I think thats how you girls spell it )
Zinc Pirithione is the best cure for most scalp problems, but not all, most scalp shampoos will not tell you the % of it but the higher up the list the better.
Unfortunately, because of the huge varied reasons for scalp problems, you may go through a few before you find one thats for you.
